The Mustang Heritage Foundation (MHF) has launched The Mustang Journey, a new podcast produced in partnership with the Horse Radio Network, bringing listeners real stories of adoption, adventure, and impact from the world of America's wild mustangs and burros.

Hosted by Danielle Aamodt and Meg Magsig, The Mustang Journey shares stories designed to inspire action — whether that means adopting a mustang, attending the Wild Mustang & Burro Finals, becoming a sponsor, making a donation, or simply joining the community that helps keep these horses in loving homes. Each episode aims to grow awareness, build connection, and create the support needed to secure a bright future for America's wild horses and burros.

This podcast is for anyone connected to mustangs: trainers, owners, adopters, and dreamers. "The conversation is as honest as the horses," said podcast host, Meg Magsig.

The debut episode The Bond That Built Careers features two guests whose mustang journeys couldn't look more different. Nate Eicher, who grew up Amish and now trains horses in Texas, shares how his career path led him into the horse world — and the key role mustangs played in getting him there. Also joining is Ann Hanlin, who recounts her first encounter with Woodrow, a well-known paint mustang stallion who's since become her successful eventing partner, and how that experience pulled her deeper into the mustang community.

The Mustang Journey is available now on the Horse Radio Network at https://horseradionetwork.com/podcast/the-mustang-journey/ and wherever podcasts are streamed.

The launch comes as MHF gears up for its flagship event, the Wild Mustang & Burro Finals, presented by MHF, October 21–24, 2026, at the Hoosier Horse Park in Edinburgh, Indiana. The Finals showcase the transformation of wild mustangs and burros through trainer competitions, adoptions, and public events celebrating these animals' versatility and heart.
