Where are America's Mustangs?

At least 110,000+ adopted mustangs are living across the U.S. right now. That's what BLM records tell us. But that's where the data ends.

How many are working on Ranches? How many are Dressage partners? Are they kid ponies? Riding trails?

Once a mustang or burro is titled, their story disappears from the official record — even though it's still being written every day in barns, arenas, and backyards across the country.

That lack of knowledge comes at a cost. The less we know about what mustangs can do, the harder it is to show the next adopter what's possible — and the longer thousands of mustangs wait for the home that's already out there for them.
